Lights up bright. There is No fading in the screen glass. Remember, this is the high-end OBC IV, the upgraded OBC version you want in your BMW! Will give you many great features. Just plug and play using your green OBC Plug. These were commonly found in the 1989 - 1995 BMW E34 5-Series (525i, 535i, 540i and M5), and the 1986 - 1994 E32 7-Series (725i, 735i, 740i, 750i, 760iL).
